Our investment in public goods funding for the Uniswap protocol has grassroots origins through the Uniswap Grants Program, a community-led initiative that deployed $6.8M to fund 122 grants over 1.5 years.
In August 2022, the Uniswap Foundation was formed. To date, we have raised $59M in funding, 62% of which is earmarked for grant funding and incentive programs. To date, we've committed $15M in the form of grants to academics, developers and entrepreneurs building tools and resources that make it easier for key stakeholders to participate in the Uniswap ecosystem.
